Description: Today marks the release of a labor of love – the CD celebrating the life of labor bard Joe Hill. The CD “Anywhere But Utah – The Songs of Joe Hill” is Bucky’s take on the songs of Joe Hill. Hill was executed November 19, 1915 in Utah. Some of these songs were written while he was incarcerated and have never been recorded. You will be treated to an eclectic batch of songs in the genres of Vaudeville, Tin Pan Alley, folk, Alt Country, and political punk. There is something for everybody. Bucky is joined by special friends on the CD: Don Stiernberg, Cathy Richardson, Jon Langford, Andy Dee and the BS Brass Band to name only a few. You can purchase it on www.cdbaby.com or here. So come on out to Bay View in Milwaukee for this very special event.
