Please join Bucky and the Illinois Labor History Society to celebrate and learn about the origins of International Labor Day at Purdue University, Hammond, IN.  You will hear music and commentary from Bucky as well as representatives from Purdue University's History and Philosophy departments about the Haymarket event which lead to the creation of International Labor Day.  This event is sponsored in part by the Illinois Labor History Society and Purdue University Northwest Department of History and Philosophy.

Bucky will be presenting a solo performance of American Protest Songs.  Rebel Voices includes music from IWW Icon Joe Hill, Depression Era spokesman Woody Guthrie and how their influence brought forth the likes of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.  In 2015, Bucky released a commemorative CD collection of the Songs of Joe Hill, including some songs never before recorded.  Bucky also participated in a year long run of tribute concerts about Joe Hill across the United States and Canada.  Bucky…
