As last minute add-on, Bucky will be showcasing his new CD "Anywhere But Utah: Songs of Joe Hill" at the festival. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the untimely execution of Joe Hill in Salt Lake City, UT, on November 19, 1915. You will find him in the Urbana Landmark Hotel Library at 6:00 to 7:15. Come out and hear some new tunes and possibly some older ones as well.

Bucky will be sharing new recordings from his recent release "Anywhere But Utah - The Songs of Joe Hill" in commemoration of the 100 anniversary of the assassination of Joe Hill. Some of these tunes have never been put to vinyl, disc or acetate. Come out to hear some great tunes and celebrate labor's greatest folksinger. CDs will be available for purchase.

Joe Hill’s Funeral Reenactment

Bucky will be playing Joe Hill tunes as part of the reenactment of the funeral of Joe Hill which occurred 100 years ago this date in Chicago. Hill was executed by firing squad 100 years ago on 11/19/1915, his body was shipped by rail to Chicago for the funeral procession and he was cremated here. The event will be as complete reenactment as possible with guests the likes of Jon Langford, Sally Timms, and others. This one won't come around…
